• Garden Maintenance
  • Water and feed plants regularly, as directed
  • Trim dead and yellow leaves and regularly cut back plants
  • Use and maintain spray, treatment and fertilizer
  • Re-pot plants as necessary
  • Keep plant preparation area neat
  • Ensure equipment is clean and in good working order; return tools to their designated place
• Inventory & Display
  • Arrange plants so they are visible and attractive to customers
  • Attach labels to plants
  • Maintain existing displays and create new displays
  • Check inventory of Garden Hard Good products on shelves
  • Face products on shelves and restock as products are depleted
  • Pull inventory from back stock
  • Ensure labels are on shelves
  • Make suggestions for new products
  • Inform management if signs or labels are needed
• Customer Interaction
  • Greet customers – ask if they have questions
  • Assist customers with needs/problems
  • Use and maintain special order book
  • Assist with carry-out
  • Notify manager about products customers are asking for that Wabash does not currently sell
  • Keep abreast of new trends (e.g. new products, plant varieties)
• Additional
  • Attend plant shows and staff Wabash booth at fairs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or CEO
