Want to help The Coastal Prairie Conservancy and have fun growing native plants? Wabash is hosting a workshop for The Coastal Prairie Conservancy Saturday, May 17, at 10:30 am that is designed to encourage volunteers to grow native plants in the comfort of their own homes. This initiative not only supports the environment by increasing native plant populations but also allows participants to learn and enjoy gardening.
Staff from The Coastal Prairie Conservancy will lead participants in lessons on the Great Grow Out program, plant propagation and the importance of planting local natives. Participants will go home with germination trays, soil and native seeds.
