We are excited to offer a half-day camp for kids entering 3rd through 5th Grades in Fall 2026 with a focus on urban homesteading: gardening to grow food, supporting pollinators and raising backyard chickens.
Camp Information:
Description: Wabash’s inaugural Bee’s Knees Junior Farm & Garden Summer Camp is designed with hands-on activities that encourage students to explore the world of gardening, urban homesteading and agriculture. Campers will gain an understanding of where food comes from while building life skills and environmental awareness that they can apply to their daily lives.
This camp is designed and taught by certified Texas teachers. Activities will be education focused and geared toward homestead skill development. The camp schedule will be based on varying daily themes and will consist of engaging lessons, activities and preparation of a small snack focused on the theme of the day.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9:00am – 12:30pm
Session 1 Dates: 6/8/26 – 6/11/26
Cost: $175
